Results

The meet today was AWESOME!! I didn't do the 50 freestyle because for some reason my coach put me in 50 butterfly. But it was really good! I got a medal in every event (placing first, second or third) so I'm really happy. I also took off a ton of time in my events. Here are my times (for those of you who are swimmers ;-D)

• 200 Medley Relay- I did free and my time was: 31.66 seconds. I think I could have done better on this, but my start was bad. =/ We were the only group of girls, so my team got first!
• 200 IM- My seed time was 2:55.95 and I dropped about 2 seconds, which is a lot of time. I got third place, my time 2:53.10
• 50 Butterfly- My seed time was 38.95 and I dropped about 1 second, my time 27.83. I got second place. =)
• 50 Breaststroke- My seed time was 42.80 and my finish time was 42.08. So I dropped .78 seconds. =) I got FIRST!!!!!!!

Haha I'm crazy. =P

    What kind of like? I think the cutest one is Liam and the one with the best voice is tied between Harry and Niall.

    I used to play piano and I might start guitar. Maybe.

    I'm obviously homeschooled!

4. What are your favorite hobbies?

    I have so many but blogging, listening to 1D, reading, and eating. :-P

5. Have you ever been to the beach?

    Yes!

6. How long is your hair?

    Longer than anyone reading this.

7. Do you do sports?

    Swimming. I'm starting volleyball on Saturday. Wish me luck, guys!

8. Why/why don't you like to wear make up?

    Okay. I like to wear make up. Love it. I don't wear it in public because I'm too young and I would look crazy if I did. I like putting it on for videos (music videos) and to horse around with my friends. Every time I go to a friends house I bring my make up. Just ask Maddie, Amelia, and Daylily! I like it because it makes me feel special. Like, "Look at me, I'm wearing make up!" Awkward but true answer. :-)

9. What inspired you to start blogging?

    Well, my friend Amelia had a blog and I decided to start one too. Being homeschooled and wanting to tell the web about it also helped.

10. Favorite place in your house?

     Sunroom or bedroom.

11. What do you normally eat for lunch?     I never eat the same thing for lunch! Sandwiches, tortilla roll-ups, tofu and    more are just some of the things I eat!

Yay! My second blog award ever!

Alright, let's get down to business.

1. Thank the person who nominated you and give the link.

Thank you a bunch Turtle friend! This award means a lot to me!

2. Tell us how the idea of making a blog popped up and why you continue it.

Hmm. Hard question... Well, my friend Amelia had a blog for a couple years and I had just learned about it. So I decided to create a blog of my own. The hard part was deciding what was my blog going to be about and what the name would be. After what seemed like a long time, it came to me all at once. On the back of our car there is a sticker that says, "Warning: Unsocialized Homeschoolers Aboard" with a stick person and something blowing up (just like a hazardous materials warning sticker)! I posted about it here. The blog is about my life as an "unsocialized" (lol) homeschooler.
I keep it up because I think that my readers would be disappointed if I stopped blogging. I know that I would be sad if Turtle stopped blogging. Or any other blog that I read! 

3. Describe a usual day of your life.

This is a summer day: I sleep in until about 8:30 or 9:00 (embarrassed face!). Yeah. I love to sleep. Then I get up and have breakfast. Sometimes I go online before breakfast. Then I'll take a shower (it depends on what I'm doing that day) and get dressed. Then I do math. I would probably go outside and hang out with friends and maybe go to someone's pool. We usually go to library programs a couple of times a week. Then I come home and have lunch or dinner. After dinner if I didn't take a shower in the morning I take one then. And I go online countless times during the day. I'm going to camp in a few days, and my days will change!

4. The best collaboration with a blogger?

I haven't had any yet. Well, I'm writing a guest post for Turtle, and I think it's going well. =)

5. Worst collaboration with a blogger?

Don't have one. (same as Piper/Turtle)

6. Explain what having this blog means to you.

Um... This award has hard questions! It means a lot to me because it helps me keep in touch with people.  For example, my uncle whom, I don't know really well IRL as he lives across the country, reads it and I hope it helps us to know each other better. And my followers -- I love you guys! Thanks so much for supporting me and keeping me going. I love that I've connected with people whom I'd otherwise never have had a chance to meet - and I love staying connected to friends I do see IRL. Plus I love technology, and by blogging it has helped me to learn more things about the computer and Internet.
