Captions [2]

I’m sorry I didn’t get to doing this yesterday. I was putting up Christmas decorations and the trees, so I didn’t have much time. Thanks to Journey and Daylily for being the first entries! Here are their captions:

Journey:
This tree just BEGS to have presents under it.

Daylily:
Tree: I am SOO bored! I hate having roots and not being able to move!
Grass: Well, it could be worse… you could BE a board.
Tree:*silence*

Both of yours are really funny, but there can only be one winner. =( I am going with Journey because I think hers represents the Christmas theme really well. I wanted to choose both of yours, but I couldn’t. =’( I can’t wait to see your entries for this week’s picture, which is….

This is Green Bird's house, but I took the picture.

Like? Okay, I’m going to switch things up a little. Since I have a good idea for a picture, I’m posting two. You can enter in both, but you can only win one. This time there will be TWO winners, so your chance of winning will go UP! =)

Oh, and I won’t be here on the 19th, so you’ll have to wait for a week or so. (more on that later)

Love that. :-)
Woah, I just realized that!
My mom could use this. A lot. :-)
Someone buy this for me, please!
Awesome!
Wow, this is so cool!
I am totally going to vegan-ize this and serve it Thanksgiving morning!
Haha! :-)
This is really awesome!
Interesting...
This is awesome!
Amazing!
Wouldn't these be fun to make?
When you pour in a hot drink, it turns from "I Solemnly Swear That I Am Up To No Good" to "Mischief Managed." In addition, the 11-ounce mug also also turns from black to white, completing the transformation.
This is fake. :-(

Home-Made Tortilla Chips Recipe

I would like to share a recipe on home-made tortilla chips!
Ingredients:
Tortillas (as many as you want - each tortilla makes eight chips)
Cooking Oil
Any kind of topping:
Cinnamon and Sugar
Garlic Powder (my favorite!)
Other. . .
Tools:
Plate
Oven
Blunt (not that sharp) Knife
Cutting Board
Cookie Sheet
Directions:
  1.  Preheat oven to 375 on bake.
  2. Cut as many tortillas as you want into eighths. This means cut in half, cut each half in half, and then all in half again.
  3. Spray cookie sheets with oil, and place the tortilla pieces on it.
  4. Put in oven, and set timer to 15 minutes, or until the chips are crispy.
  5. Have an adult help you take the cookie sheet out of the oven.
  6. Spray the chips with the oil, and sprinkle the topping on the chips.
  7. Place chips onto plate.
  8. Enjoy!
I love these chips, and so does my family! I hope you like them too!
