Hi Followers!
For my Civics I have to create a poll and have as many people as possible vote on it. I was hoping you could vote on it and maybe pass it on to your friends? Thank you soo much. =)

Hello.

Hi guys, I know I haven't posted in a really long time and that every attempt to make a schedule fails. I think the thing is, I have no idea of what to write on this blog. When I first started it, I just posted lots of random things and I didn't really care. But now that I'm 13 instead of 11 things are just different. Life is generally harder and more confusing now, and sometimes I just get so off track, I can't go back to where I left off and keep going. I'm not sure if that makes any sense. And its not just about me not keeping up my blog, it goes for a lot of things in my life. I don't even know....

I think what I'm trying to say is I'm sorry.

But now I'm going to move on from that, and stop starting all of my posts with apologies for not updating.

Because, just like everything in life, I need to work it out and even if I can't get back on track, I need to keep going.

And right now, looking back at all that, I feel really stupid. I dunno.

Moving on.....

Hi! My name is Purple Pixie and this is my blog.

How To Change YouTube Vidoes Into MP3 Files

One of my friends asked how to change YouTube videos into MP3 files and put them on iTunes, so I wrote out this whole long list about how to do it. After sending it to her, I realized that I might as well turn them into a post so I help the world of Bloggers in a small way! I hope you find this useful, and if you have any problems with any of the steps, just email me (purplepixieblogger@gmail.com) or drop me a comment. I'll get back to you as soon as possible! And I'm sorry if there are any grammatical or spelling mistakes, I'm not going to take the time to proofread. xP

1. You'll need to use a computer that has...

Fast Wifi

Space (aka GBs)

iTunes

Windows Operating System

2. Go online and open 2 tabs.

Tab one- Find the song on YouTube that you want. It's best if its the official (look for VEVO) music video or lyric video so the sound is better quality

Tab two-

http://www.youtube-mp3.org/

3. Copy and paste the link of the YouTube video into the box on the converter site. Click the 'convert' button and wait for it to convert. When it has finished, click 'download'

4. When it's done downloading, a 'download' box should pop up and the file should be at the top. Right click on the file and select 'open containing folder'

5. After clicking 'open containing folder,' a new window/folder should open up with a list of everything you've downloaded. The MP3 file should be highlighted. If it's not, go find it in that folder! Right click on the file and select 'cut'. Go onto the music section of your libraries and make a new folder called 'MP3 Files' and put the file in there. I make the folder so it's easy to find the MP3s, and so they don't clutter the Music folder.

6. Open up iTunes. Drag the MP3 file into your iTunes library, and there it is!

So that's it for the basic stuff. Next will be about naming it, adding the artist, album name, album cover, etc.

7. Right click on the new song in iTunes (For me my iTunes is usually on the Albums section so it's a blank album). Select 'Get Info'. Then you fix the name of it and stuff.

For this I'm using Kiss You by 1D, so I'll do the info.

Name- Kiss You

Artist- One Direction

Year- 2012

Album-Take Me Home

Track- 2/13 (If you go online or on the iTunes Store you can figure out what track number it is, and how many songs there are. Example- 6/10)

Genre- Pop

8. Click 'save' and it will close. Right click again on the blank album picture that contains the song. Select 'Get Album Artwork' and wait a few seconds. If it finds the artwork, then it will load onto the album. If not, right click again and go back to 'Get Info'. Go onto the artwork tab.

Go online and google the album cover. Once you find the one you like, right click on the image and click 'copy image'

Go back to the iTunes and paste the image into the box. Hit save.

And there you have it, in 8 steps!

If you have any questions please email me or leave a comment. Again, I apologize for any grammatical or spelling mistakes, I'm not editing today.

xx Purple Pixie

Updates!!

Hi my people.

I guess I can't really call you my people anymore because I haven't been doing a good job of updating... =(

Like, I have no excuses.

I have toooons of time to write posts, but I spend it reading fanfic and being lazy.

I am a religiously lazy person.

Yes, my religion is Lazy.

Anyway (I hate it when people say or write 'anywho'. It's... weird..), since I only have FOUR DAYS OF SCHOOL LEFT (But I might finish my math this weekend, not sure), I will be posting more this summer! Yay!

Okay, I will be posting a tutorial this weekend as well as a post about One Direction.

The tutorial will be on how to convert YouTube videos into MP3 files and putting them on iTunes.
note- windows operating systems only

The One Direction post will contain lots of- ASDFGHJKLs and pictures. Probably YouTube videos also. =)

Next weekend I plan on another One Direction post and a music post.

The music post will be filled with my crazy antics and loooooots of videos. =)

The One Direction post will most likely be very similar to the one this weekend, but some different photos, videos, and I will be like this- LKJHGFDSA.

Just kidding, ASDFGHJKL looks a lot better.

Sooo that's what you get to look forward to, haha! I'm sorry this isn't a 'real' post, but you got to know what's coming up!

BYE! I love you all!!

Hello and welcome to the After Post!

So basically on YouTube I watch this guy and he has 'After Videos'. So I'm doing After Posts.

Because this is not a video.

No, I won't be doing a vlog because that would reveal my identity.

Back to the AP!

I have TWO things I want to cover in my AP.

THING ONE!!!!!

I need a name for you people. Choose one of these names (or come up with your own!) and add it to your comment.

-Carrots

-Pixies

-Crazies

Yeahhhh.... I'm tired.

THING TWO!!!!!

I might do a One Direction fanfic on here over the summer that I update twice or more a week. Since I'll be writing it mostly for you, I'd love it if I got some input! So I would do one of these....

Louis

Zayn

Niall

Liam

Harry

All

I do have ideas for them, but I don't want to post them in case someone wants to steal my idea.

ALSO!!! Please say if you would want famous or not famous.

I personally like the not famous ones better, but I'm cool with either.

THANK YOU IF YOU ARE READING THIS!

Please, please, please comment, I will publish them ASAP.

I will be waiting. =)

Okay, that's it for the AP. Go comment now!!

Michael Jackson

Hey.

I just want to put this out here.

I. Love. Michael. Jackson.

No, not like I want to marry him or anything. That would be really weird. And creepy. I don't want to think about that now... He's kind of attractive, but I don't like him in that way. Let me rephrase that.

I. Love. Michael. Jackson's. Amazing. Music.

Now that the awkwardness is cleared up, let me elaborate.

I'm sure some of you people like MJ. Maybe even as much as I do, who knows! Other than you... And I'm sure some of you don't. But that doesn't matter, because I'm talking about me. I hope that doesn't seem conceited or anything. So.. back to music.

I wasn't always a fan. It happened pretty recently, a few months ago. I remember in 2009 when he died. A bunch of kids in my RE group were talking about it. I recall saying that I didn't know if I liked him or not, as I haven't heard many of his songs.

Even now, I haven't heard all of his songs. But I have quite a few albums. Bad 25, Thriller, This Is It, The Essential Michael Jackson, The Definitive Collection... And I'm still working on getting more.

Some of his songs are inspirational and have deep meaning, such as 'Man In The Mirror,' 'Black or White' and 'Price of Fame.'

Other songs are beautiful love songs. They either want to make me cry, or make me feel super happy. Some of those are 'I Just Can't Stop Loving You,' 'Billie Jean,' 'P.Y.T.' and 'The Girl Is Mine.'

There are also some songs that are a mix of romance and partying songs. 'The Way You Make Me Feel,' 'Street Walker' and 'Just Good Friends.'

The party/workout songs are probably my favorite, though. 'Bad' and all of the remixes, 'Don't Stop 'Till You Get Enough,' 'Speed Demon,' 'Thriller,' 'Smooth Criminal,' 'Al Capone' and 'Another Part of Me.'

There are tons of other songs by him that I haven't listed. I have all of those songs and more. But MJ has tons of songs that I haven't heard yet.

I hope I'm not creeping you guys out with my obsession.

Anyway, I hope you guys go and listen to Michael Jackson sometime, he's really amazing. If you can't figure out anything good to listen to, just send me an email or leave a comment. I'd love to help you out!

Results

The meet today was AWESOME!! I didn't do the 50 freestyle because for some reason my coach put me in 50 butterfly. But it was really good! I got a medal in every event (placing first, second or third) so I'm really happy. I also took off a ton of time in my events. Here are my times (for those of you who are swimmers ;-D)

• 200 Medley Relay- I did free and my time was: 31.66 seconds. I think I could have done better on this, but my start was bad. =/ We were the only group of girls, so my team got first!
• 200 IM- My seed time was 2:55.95 and I dropped about 2 seconds, which is a lot of time. I got third place, my time 2:53.10
• 50 Butterfly- My seed time was 38.95 and I dropped about 1 second, my time 27.83. I got second place. =)
• 50 Breaststroke- My seed time was 42.80 and my finish time was 42.08. So I dropped .78 seconds. =) I got FIRST!!!!!!!

Haha I'm crazy. =P

Weird Hair...

Today my hair smells like strawberries. And I don't even have strawberry scented shampoo and/or conditioner. Or anything strawberry scented! Maybe I'm turning into Strawberry Shortcake... Haha, I would love to have pink hair! Like Perrie Edwards...

Anyway, does your hair ever smell weird? I remember one time my sister's hair smelled like a cupcake.. It was really weird.

This is such an awkward post.. =P I'm so weird! I'm going to try to post at least five times a week, because I know I won't post everyday. I already tried doing that but... you know how it goes.

I've been obsessed with Pinterest and Google+ lately. Like, every time I turn my laptop on I go onto those sites. And it's not just for five minutes, it's like hours. I have really bad self-control.

Well, I better go. Probably to fangirl for a few more hours...

Love you all, and thanks for not unfollowing!!

Tagged!

I got tagged by Journey over at A Writer's World! I found this button to go with it and for the people I'm tagging. =)

Rules:

-You must answer the eleven questions the tagger has given you and make eleven questions for the people you are going to tag

-Next, tag eleven more bloggers

-Tell the people you have tagged that you tagged them

-No tagging back!

Here are the questions she asked, with my answers.
1) Do you like math? Not really. It's not the worst subject ever, but it's not the best. (IMO)
2) If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go? Hmm... I would like to go to so many places, I couldn't choose just one. Here's two- Hawaii and Sydney.
3) What is your fav color? PURPLE!!! =D
4) How do you overcome writers block? Well, I sit and think. And I write in a journal. Not actual stories, I just write about my life. Sometimes I let the story sit for a while and just plain out forget about it (not forget forget, just not have it on my mind). I do this ['forget' about it] so my mind isn't overwhelmed with just that one thing. Then I [usually] get a really good idea for it at a random time and write it down. =)
5) If you could have one superpower, what would you have? Shape shifter. That way I could be anything.
6) What was the longest book you ever read? Write the page number if you know it. Bleh, I have no idea! The Harry Potter and Percy Jackson/Heroes of Olympus are really long and I've read all of those.
7) What is your favorite genre of fiction novels? Fantasy!!!
8) ???
9) If you were on a deserted island what three things would you bring with you? Um... Matches, one of those special blankets that keep the heat in, and a buddy. =P
10) Up or down? Up!
11) Right or left? Right!

Now I get to make up questions!!
1) Do you like One Direction? (lol I always ask that one)
2) If you answered yes to #1, then who is your fav out of the band? If not, then who is your favorite celeb?
3) What is your favorite TV show?
4) What is one of your favorite books?
5) What is your favorite sport?
6) What do you do for fun?
7) How do you post on Blogger? (mobile app, laptop, desktop, etc)
8) Who is your favorite actress? (not actor or singer)
9) Taylor Swift or Selena Gomez?
10) Cat or Dog?
11) Bird or Horse?

Now, I tag...
