At The Library

Hi Everyone,
I am waiting for Green Bird, LS2 (Blue Frog), and LS3 to come out of their program. I am sitting near a window, with beautiful scenery (not at all! cars driving down the road :P). I hope they are having fun -- I just had to finish some of my work (which is pretty fun...).

Piper LaMore's Blog

My friend Piper LaMore just got a new blog. It is called Earbuds Are A Girls's Best Friend. I hope you like it. She just made her blog last night, and I think that she's done an AWESOME job on it. Just so you know, she put songs on it. Just so you won't be startled!

The Taming of the Shrew

The Taming of the Shrew is one of William Shakespeare's most famous plays. I am doing this play in my drama class. I have the part of Bianca, the daughter everyone wants to marry! : D Click here to read about this play on Wikipedia. I also will write a few things.

• The Taming of the Shrew is one of Shakespeare's most well-known plays.
• It is a comedy, which means it is very funny at some parts, but mostly throughout the entire play.
• There are quite a few parts, which is a good thing, because there are a lot of kids in our group!
• The funny part is how Katherine gets 'tamed' by Petruchio.

I can't wait for our performance!! I will try to download a video, or at least a picture. I'm not sure, though...

                                      Thanks!

                                       'Bianca' :) (aka Purple Pixie)

The Witch of Blackbird Pond

I have been reading two chapters a day for my language arts (LA). This book is an epic masterpiece! It is called The Witch of Blackbird Pond, and I just adore it! The author is Elizabeth George Speare, and I also love one of her other books, The Sign of the Beaver. Here are some pictures of the covers of The Witch of Blackbird Pond. And
<-- this one is The Sign of the Beaver. I hope you read The Witch of Blackbird Pond, and like it!!
The book has been published lots of times and I wanted to share some of the cool cover art for it. Check it out!

This is the edition I'm currently reading.
